Common questions
What does a negative result mean?
The new value is lower than the original value. A move from 1,000 to 800 is a 20% decrease.
Can I calculate a change from zero?
Percentage change from zero is undefined. State the absolute change instead. This tool requires a positive original value and a non-negative new value.
